WHAT IS LIP BLUSH?

Permanent Lip Color is the truly smudge proof answer to all day, perfect lip color. Using a hand-held device, we are able to apply full or partial color to naturally blush the lips, making them appear more youthful. We use cosmetic pigments to correct irregularities in color and lip symmetry. We can even adjust the lip line to make your lips appear fuller if desired. Permanent Lip Color is also known as Permanent Lipstick, Permanent Lip Tattoo, Lip Blushing and Permanent Lip Tinting.

Once you’ve booked your appointment, we’ll interview you about your daily makeup routine. What colors do you enjoy wearing? Pinks, nudes, browns, or corals? We’ll work with you to find the perfect shade that best complements your skin tone. We’ll discuss symmetry and any color correction that may be recommended also at this time.

What to expect after your procedure

Day 1: You love your new lip color! The color will appear bright and saturated. Your lips will also feel slightly swollen.

Days 2-4: The color will begin to darken temporarily as the pigment oxidizes and flaking begins. You lips will feel most swollen during this time, but it should reduce quickly with proper care.

Days 5-14: Most swelling will be gone. Your lips will begin to feel dry and continue flaking. DO NOT pick at your lips. Allow shedding to heal naturally. At this time, it will appear that your lip color is very light. This is only temporary as the new skin is still healing. Over the next several days your lip color will reappear until it reaches 40-50% of the initial color.

Days 28-42: It’s time for your complimentary perfection touch up! At this time your lips are fully healed and it is recommended that you come back in to reinforce any color that might have healed patchy or too light.

*Once healed, remember to always apply full spectrum sunscreen to your lips when in the sun to avoid premature fading of treatment.

*A complete healing cycle takes 4-6 weeks depending on age and your body regeneration.
